What are you working on musically?

In a moment of frustration a year ago, deleted years upon years of recording. Deleted anything attached to me musically. Sold most my gear and basically went silent. Very involved in ministry now and my priorities have been revealed to me again in life.

So, have new Spotify & YouTube for my music finally and salvaging what i can find and putting it back into 1 place again.

Many new tunes are done & will for the shear enjoyment of it all. Keep making new original music. It , to me is about capturing the moment in time musically & lyrically and enjoying it for what it is. It took the pressure off of always writing for the band. Which is doing very well. Next year is set to be basically every weekend outside gigs from Spring on.

Working on. Taking the capture to level to mix to master. Finding out is a JCM 800 or Plexi is going to be the fundamental tone on this next batch. It is a tricky zone at times, The volume up on a Plexi is a gut punch of clarity and fullness like no other. key is volume tho. 800 allows semi sane levels . We shall see. Either another Plexi coming or HW amp like Ceriatone Chupacabra or 51 all access. or if i can score Marshall 2205 = game over.

Am fascinated with all the Beatles videos in the studio sessions & the Stones. Imagine being a musician at a time when there wasn't so much music like now. Wide open to invent new genres & soundscapes & songs in whatever structure you see fit. Still do but back then, new music was super anticipated each new album. Enjoy seeing the evolution of amps & pedals in that early time period..
