SG content seen this AM.

Finally bought an SG a few months ago, a Supreme. Nice thin neck, great upper fret access, light. Reminds me of the L6-S in many ways.
Now to get some gigs!

Interesting placement of the upper strap button.

Nice guitar.
I definitely agree on the tone differences from the pup spacing vs. the LP.
Custombucker Alnico 3 pups sound yummy.

My SG is one of a few hundred 24 fret 50th anniversary made in 2011 with 57/57+ pups.
Deal of a lifetime from Guitar Center - they cluelessly sold it to me as a standard '61 re-issue.
I wouldn't trade it for any other SG on the planet...
Remember the 24fret SGJ's ?

I was thinking it was a Jr, but I could not see it well enough to declare it as such. White Button Tuners, Trem and uncertain to me bridge. But is clearer to see now with this photo.

Is it the SG that started it all for you?
Yeah, it was my second electric guitar. The first was a Japanese Epiphone Coronet. The bridge is a Leo Quan "Bad-Ass" from the late seventies. I had to have an SG because that's what Buck Dharma, Duane Allman, Frank Zappa, Frank Marino, and Pete Townsend had all been playing.
