How do you tell on a Gibson Humbucker pre white stamp type, ( including possible resistance readings ) a Gibson 490R from a 490T or from a 498T ? I have searched the web, but came up confused. I am mainly talking about the 2 conductor metal shielded types, not the 4 conductor, but both seem to be confusing. Example: Here is a pix of what came in my 2010 Studio Deluxe II neck position, which is supposed to be a 490R from what I have read. This example is the 4 conductor. Note the "T" stamp in the photo which appears in all three types on the web.

I don't know anything about the ceramic magnet Gibson pickups. I have one out of my 1986 Gibson V two conductor measures 15.15K
no T on the back plate.

Have you measured the resistance?
A Gibson 4 wire pickup should have the green and white wires connected if you are not coil splitting.
Red to vol pot, black/bare to ground, so get an Ω reading from red to black.
490/498's should fall in this range:

Gibson 490R (Alnico2) 7.2 - 7.83 KΩ

Gibson 490T (Alnico2) 7.9 - 8.53 KΩ

Gibson 498T (Alnico5) 12.32-13.46 KΩ
