I decided the next step will be the fret install. Then, if I scrap the neck, I can do something about it.
 
Will you be masking off the body and neck binding when spraying the poly?

I'm stymied right now with that frozen truss rod.

I feel like we got concert tickets and mine turned out to be bogus.
I'm still working at it and contacted Dave; he says he will work with me to resolve it.

I wish I could be more helpful regarding the truss rod except to say that nimine works and is of reasonable quality, supporting the glue theory.

I will not mask the binding, just the FB. I would rather do that than have spray lines. Also, I do not see me being able to perfectly tape off the binding.

Some frets are on. It is coming along. I do not think that spot will ever fully darken, even though sanded it bare. I will poly it after I get it as dark as I can. If it is still displeasing, it will be slide-on decal time!
