On my new project for the winter. Pulled out the new engine i bought from an estate sale about 6 years back. Had to take the backplate off and drill a hole in it for the fitting. It takes pressure from the crankcase to the fuel pump. Fuel tank is about 2 feet away from the carb, so i have long fuel lines which needs this pump to get that fuel into that carb.

Installed the new pump on the firewall. Installed the new engine on the mount, what a workout that was with the ratchet on those nylon lock nuts. They will hold that engine down well, a lot of vibration , so you want it secure.

Had to cut another hole in the top of the cowl for the high speed needle adjustment. I just remembered i will have to put a fuel filter between the tank and the pump. Hoping to find a Pitts style muffler for this engine. It will be a work in progress. I have new electronics to put in the plane , but will need some new batteries , and a few other items. Here's a few pics.

And more specifically. What scale and size engine?
