New pedals, wah, compressor, fuzz

During the course of the summer, I picked up a few new pedals. My mongrel red fasel Cry Baby died, and I haven't had time to fix it. Too much broken stuff, and too much travel for work. I was working next to a mom/pop music store while I was away and thought I might grab another Cry Baby or Vox wah to see me through until having time to fix stuff. The only pedal they had in stock was a Jam Wahcko. They're made in Greece and seem like a really well built pedal. It has a tone/sweep setting rotary switch, which I think I found my favorite mode. It's got the snarl that I really like.

Next was a Pedal Pawn CV7003 Transistor fuzz. I'm still on the hunt for a fuzz that I like. The first one they sent me was kaput, so I had to return it for repairs. It does the Heartful of Soul thing quite well. The jury is still out on this one, but I'm still trying to get used to it. I like playing it through several amps and guitars to see what works best. It seems to work best when the fuzz is all the way up. It seems more of a Fuzz-Face than Tone Bender.

Last is the DryBell Unit 67 compressor which is based on an 1176 studio compressor with a Rangemaster tone circuit. So far, I like this. I'm trying to get used to it, as I have never really liked compressors, but have been eyeballing this for a few years. I think Pete thorn's video finally pushed me into buying one. Like my friend jokes, it'll be a year before I know how it works.

Congrats on the pedals, the Wah looks cool.

I have the Reuss 3volt fuzz which is a modern copy made in Denmark. It’s a fun fuzz pedal. Needed something to get that early Alice Cooper Band Sound. That and a Marshall JMP nailed it.
The early Alice Cooper had a lot of cleaner guitar if my memory serves me correctly.
