I hope you decide to stick around. keep Kevin's log in...we all know who you are...We'd be honored...Thank you all again, for both the personal messages and for the posts about Kevin. Reading them has been bittersweet but very much appreciated. As much as I'd like to reply individually I don't think I'd manage to get through it so I'll just say it here, thank you all so very much. It appears you really knew him because I recognise the guy in your posts and descriptions. The stories sound exactly like him. Allow me to share mine, when I first met Kevin he was walking definition of the "loveable rogue" . He wasn't bad just cheeky and mischievous. He saw the world in his own particular way which was usually positive. One of you commented that when life threw something at him he soldiered on, that is very true. He dealt with things in his own way, took it on the chin and never got beat down. He was always upbeat, sometimes annoyingly so and had the envious knack of being able to breeze through life and enjoy it. He had a serious side though, he didn't suffer fools and had a deep hatred for injustice. That combined with the fearless aspect to his nature led to a few confrontations over the years and when Kevin thought he was in the right he would not back down regardless of consequences. One example happened when we were standing in a Burger King when around 6 ot 7 guys came in and cut in front of him, he got in their faces to explain in his own special way that they were making a mistake. When I confronted him about it afterwards his reply was "if I was going to hospital, at least one of them would be in the next bed". His job was also a constant sources of anxiety for me but i knew he loved it and would never ask him to change. For 20 years I waved him off with a pit in my stomach which stayed there until he got back. Then came the day I got the call and the rest as you know is history. I'm convinced his make up and stubbornness to submit is what saved him, I only wish it could have las
