I still have an old FM2 tank and an ME Super. Haven't run a roll of film through 'em for 20 years.

My eyes for photography started to go back in 2013 so it was getting tough being a journalist/photog anymore ... I was shooting everything soft, and glasses weren't working too well for me. But geez I took a lot of stills and rolled a lot of tape in my earlier careers.

Still have my ancient manual Minolta. SRT102 and a few lenses. Doesn’t get used much these days.

Go auto focus digital. Face and eye detection etc. Hard to miss.

Some Harlequin, Tommy DeCarlo formerly of Boston, Prism etc.

I didn't know Tommy Chong played with Harlequin. Dave's not here, man....

These were all with the compact zoom cam can't take a real camera in so quality at times is suspect.

Northern Lights were as spectacular as I have ever seen tonight. All I did was a slight color vibrabce add, a toucn of clarity and noise reduction. No color changes or anything. 4 second exposures.

Fortunate to live only a mile from the mighty Pacific Ocean. The Pismo Beach Pier is usually our turnaround point when keeping our walks to 2.5 miles. Couldn’t decide… portrait or landscape?

Messing around with lighting.
4 old tubes I have - a Sylvania followed by 3 various 1950s grey plate RCAs. I should get the RCA's put into my 800s to start with.
It is subtle but I have a BLACK cloth hanging on the left side (there is one on the right but too far away and I ran out of hands....) which makes a subtle dark reflection on the lefts of the first tubes in thus creating a contrast with the background which was actually a softbox pointed right at camera with a flash in it.

Got some cool contrast with the 82 Explorer....

It;s been a ruff snow year so far it took 14.5 hours to clear my roof off now I have 12' of snow around my house
