When those get old they do go rouge.I had one of those fail internally on me. Almost took out my Laney. Never again. I prefer hard-wire.
Impedance would fluctuate wildly…had to replace it.
Since Marshall didn't make a stealth version of the Origin I made my own. I talked about it in various places. Now it's done.

The new face plate was done by Sandy of Precision Designs. For fear of copyright issues she thought it best not to copy the Origin logo. Thanks to @fitz for the suggestion to call it the Stealth 20. Unfortunately she couldn't match the font, it must have been hand drawn or something, but I think it's pretty cool anyway.

I couldn't find a 6" black Marshall logo so I had to paint the one I had. Of course I screwed up the first try, but luckily I had a spare and I was able to try again. Thanks again to @fitz for your help on this. It came out great.

Replaced the handle with the gold ends to an all black one, changed the gold piping to black, and added some corner protectors.

I think it came out great and as far as I know, it's the only one. I like that, lol.
Steve, that thing is dead sexy!
I love to make things my own too!
You nailed this!

that's one sexy black beast. This the place where I would normally make a corny 4STICKS joke, but not today for obvious reasons.Just stumbled upon this Steve and have nothing to add except it belongs in a TTR mod Hall of Fame. I once started a thread on the way way old AGF folks could nominate completed projects to and it grew into a rather successful showcase for member skills and ingenuity.
Anyway, you absolutely deserve a "Moddy" for your "ORIGIN"-ality on this bcz it's fully top tier cool.

whoops, didn't mean to quote the guy above me...that's one sexy black beast. This the place where I would normally make a corny 4STICKS joke, but not today for obvious reasons.
would love to hear her dimed out.
