UFO / Music / Non Alien ...lol

I have heard people say that about that album, I will have to focus on listening to that again. I like the Leo Lyons production on the early recordings from the Chrysalis years.
His tone changed when he left UFO, in part due to the split channel 2205 Marshall.
I think I shelved that record long ago because I didn’t like the direction they going in musically.
If you believe everything you read on teh Internet (like I do), then he used a 50W Marshall Plexi, cabinet loaded with 25W Celestion greenbacks, EP-3 Echoplex and a wah pedal left stationary at 50% travel for all the solos on that record.

He absolutely did until he left UFO. UFO owned that amp, it was supposedly later given to Paul Chapman. He was a great player but never got the recognition.

Once you go Plexi, you never go back.

They are great sounding amps, I have never owned one yet. I came close to buying a JMP
I did briefly own a 2205. They are great amps, the one I bought , when I got it home I started looking closer at the back and head cab had been dropped. Big cracks , bad repair. It went back and ended up with the 5150 lbx. I still have it.

I have probably seen Michael Schenker play more than any Guitarist. Being around as long as I have , I have seen some of the best.
From icon to icon.
Led Zeppelin, Rush, Black Sabbath , Ozzy (Blizzard) EVH first tour, Uli Roth, Bill Nelson, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest , Megadeth, G n R , Metallica on and on. Many bands I have seen consecutive tours.
I still like seeing Michael play.
