Aaaaand I found one. Really pretty current production model, in a quilted burst. Nicer features overall than the first one, fewer bucks, better condition, too. It’s an open box item, never owned or demoed, so it should be pristine. This is just an example….

Glad to hear that. I’ve only ever owned an Ibanez bass for about a half hour, but I loved the feel and body size. I expect this one won’t have a bad preamp.
