A large corporate behemoth suddenly swooped in and scooped up about ten communities many of us know and are members of. They threaten to (if they haven't already) filter in lame "bots" to attempt to spur member engagement and ask lame questions such as "Hey! Is everybody's amplifier tone making you currently pleased?" Even when everybody knows the correct answer to this total dum-dum query is already always "NO!"

Then they collect and sell our data and pictures and surfing habits to other more powerful somewhat humanoid robots habitating large black buildings on a remote island somewhere.

So far, most indications are Wavmixer is not yet an evil AI robot or superwealthy digital oligarch, and this is a good thing.

Our independence from the madness of a gradual slide towards digital tyranny must be treasured and fostered however we can!

Very similar straps crafted by me (without the extra No Prisoners "metal" touch), are priced at over $130 USD and already have 8 watchers in my Reverb store.

Who's got $65 to get to half the regular price?

Bear in mind the package I will assemble for the winning bidder (in addition to a fine custom one-only guitar strap) will likely have a rather pleasing effect that'll last a years and years, even after the cheezies are long gone.

The reason for the odd change is because paypal charges me 1.5% to transfer the money from paypal to my bank. So if someone sends $20 via paypal, I can receive only $19.70

Rest assured that this home of ours (The Tone Rooms) will NEVER be sold to the bot infested company. New bots are joining in here, and getting deleted here on a daily basis. BTW, I was approached about selling TTR to the same people that bought all the other forums. my answer was not NO, my answer was just ignoring them.

Once we have enough money to cover the bills, I will let y'all know. IF y'all want to send me additional donations, I will gladly accept. For right now, I just wanna keep the lights on for another year.

Awesome craftsmanship!

I've already snail mailed my donation to Wav, but the photos of that guitar strap keep screaming "Bid Bid Bid" in my brain. That strap would look just fine with any of my guitars.

I'm bidding $200 for 2 reasons.

1) Keeping TTR up and running is a worthy endeavor.

2) If I do win the auction, I'll finally (76 years old) be able to stand naked in front of a full length mirror with a guitar and strap and say,
"Damn Old Man! You're really Well Hung."

Let the bidding continue.

Thank You @Sargeant Preston very generous and even at that price no disappointment. People tell me all the time I should charge more for my craft. At this price and above, I will now include a W-H tee shirt in XL

Current bid now TWO crisp Benjamins. And it, seems, his auction gusto might just be strong enough that a brave and brazen TTR member might attempt to bid him up a little, seeing as he's pining to finally call himself a Well-Hung guitarist. There's a risk factor though, not gonna lie!

After a bid of $300 I will include something so very extra special, you might call me crazy.

Funny aside while this is all going on I'm struggling with an upright freezer that I discovered at lunch had a bunch of semi-thawed meat in it, probably a few hundred bucks worth, plus about 15 or so litres of various frozen homemade soups, chili con carne and spaghetti sauce. Seems it was frosted right up and unable to cool any longer. what a damn mess!

Ain't life grand?
