Doing some rehearsals for a Summer reunion mini-tour with one of my 80s bands. This week I brought my DGT.
I love being able to balance the pickups in middle position, Les Paul style. Can't do that on any of my other PRSi.

But I found the Marshall on my side at the rehearsal studio to be quite thin sounding, especially at rehearsal volume.
The extended highs that make the DGT sparkle and bite through my own amps just sound harsh through it.
So next week I intend on bringing something a lot fatter sounding.

I wrote seven new songs in eight day's we have them recorded and charted out I've never named my guitars
but have been inspired by my 1965 SG Standard it's a song writer then recorded on the PRS Custom 24
the bad news my expensive condenser microphone died good thing I had the AKG's as a bockup

For a few songs in the reunion, I just got a Gretsch electric 12; it has a master volume by the neck. You can balance middle position with the individual pickup volumes, then dial it down without altering the balance using the master. I have an Epiphone rockabilly guitar with the same setup - 2 volumes, tone, and a master volume. Kinda cool to have, especially if using middle position a lot.

Having a master would be cool.
