I think the black one and the ones with the black pickguard look more serious.
The pastel colors look too toy like to me.

Yeah, not at all interested. I'd get a lot more use out of a good cable or $100 worth of strings than one of these things. I would never pick it up.

Considering the Norlin style pickguard/cavity cover, I would think its modding potential is pretty limited.
Boy, some of you people have no imagination what so ever.
Who says one is limited to the existing pickguard...
A little routing and presto, room for P90's or buckers.
A little more routing and presto once again, room for 4 full size pots. All you need is a little over an inch depth for push pulls.
A new sheet of black, white, black 5 ply pickguard material and one can make any shape or design one wants.
One is only limited by imagination, abilities and finances.

Sounds like you'd be better off with an Epi Special or Special II. Same price better body.
My cousin Delbert in Jacksonville made a nice Continental kit and trunk lid for his car, but it's still a Plymouth K car.
