So --- I know -- poop happens but COME ON---

I was recently in a Guitar Center (Lakeland Fl) in my many and varied travels ----

And I ventured into that weird enclosed "acoustic room" to actually spy on some BASS acoustic offerings.

---I know we have all discussed the USED STUFF GOING BACK ON THE WALL AT FOOL PRICE -- thing and well.........here ya go

Gretsch Jim dandy flat top--- 169.00 (anywhere--all day long new)--

Except this one............on the RACK --- the regular rack -- not used....not "bo bo" .........fool retail section /
has a blemish so huge you can see it from across the room!!!

there was a slightly LESS noticeable one further down the body......I mean come on really?

IF you buy anything from this company --- inspect it ---- HELL you dont even have to inspect it GOOD --- stand 6 feet away ---- what crap----

BOOOO G.C. ,.......BOOOOO

ANd I dont even LIKE acoustics!

I bought my EBMM Y2D in a high end guitar store.
It was a pleasant experience to say the least, and
I got a better deal that I could have at GC or SA.
Seems like a no brainer to me.

Much better than going to a GC, getting ignored for half an hour,
finally taking a guitar off the wall yourself to try and finding out
that it has not been set up and is unplayable, or asking if they
have such and such guitar in stock and having the salesperson
say, "I'll go check." and then go to lunch.

EXACTLY-

Skinny jeans fetus at GC didnt even care when I mentioned the HOLE in the guitar----Said he would get "Steve" to take a look at it-------

That guitar could have been new. Maybe some kid tried it and thought he was Jimi and gave it a wack. At least it wasn't burned with Ronson lighter fluid.

BUt would you be willing to pay the 169.00 NEW price?
Why is it even on the wall?

Just further proof the skinny jeaned visa sleeved fetus crowd at the GC dont give a crap.

another funny thing I notice--- the staff there is almost never the same-----

Yet when I go to say Jimmys Vintage Music or Carltons Music (smaller local "Mom and Pops" ) I see the same folks behind the counter time and time again

Our local Mom and Pops are gone. GC and SA killed them all. My SA fired everyone in the guitar dept. I knew the guys, they knew me. I seriously miss Zaph's Music. I even miss the old guitar shows/conventions in the area. They moved it to a smaller location. DARN! I got myself depressed.

Guys, guys, guys...
You all need to look at the big picture. Relicing a guitar is extra work and should cost more.

Now you let the cat out, and "Steve" is going to slap a higher price tag on it.

Yep, it's reliced now for sure.
Will be $269 now.

what I really like about this pic------ is the wind chime beside the door----- how quaint
