That’s why I love my push-reel…powered by bbq & beer…super quiet.
I particularly like when someone is walking past, and staring, and I get to scream at the top of my lungs… something like, “NICE DAY FOR IT, EH!?!?!”

Sadly, my Tiny Terror is no longer functional. It suffered screen grid resistor failure. Both screen grid resistors failed spectacularly enough that there is some pretty severe carbon scoring spread across the board. Bad enough that I don’t feel that it would be worth attempting to salvage the board. Perhaps I will find a project, of interest, that will fit in the chassis someday. It served me well, from approximately 2006 to 2022-ish…it owed me nothing, and was well liked by me.

We have a big azz battery powered mower. 56V. Works very well, self propelled, easy and no maintenance. Our old one was too but I just wanted an upgrade. Quiet I run it with my earbuds in.

If everybody did that it would be great. Around here the sound of summer is lawn mowers, weed eaters, edgers and blowers...all day everyday you hear them running everywhere you go in town.
