That is cool pic , do you the story behind the guitar and James and Kirk played V’s back then ?
Looking for info I may know, or info you want to share?

I do know that James played a cheap copy and a few other tidbits about his early V's.
I was reading where as a kid, he dreamed of getting a white V because of idolizing Michael Schenker's.

All correct, many think “oh yeah thrash , so heavy, they invented metal as we know it”
Little do they they know, they can not see the tree’s for the forest.

Also the best answer is Wireless!
I'm new here. So forgive me if I'm a bit amused that Flying V guitar players are still struggling with how to route the cord.
Although it's now discontinued I have been using an AKG GB40 Guitar Bug transmitter in conjunction with the AKG WMS40 receiver for years. And yes....you have to run a cord between the receiver and amp. To be honest, I was quite surprised to discover (today) that the AKG wireless system had been discontinued years ago.
If it ain't broke....don't try to fix it!
In the meantime, I'm enjoying the pics and vids.

Welcome, sadly I have a wireless thing I have never used. It was a gift, I should try it but honestly for me, I am exclusively a bedroom player.

Welcome, Sargeant Preston, nice to have you here. I think Geoff/Jethro is a new V player, so his newness aroused his query.
Me, I just route it and ram it into position and play. if I wanted to get cute with it, I would route it like the cable guy runs cable in a house the old school way. HAHA
