RIP John Sykes

The guitar world lost a titan today. John Sykes passed away after a long fight with cancer at the age of 65. It is disgusting just how grossly overlooked he was in all of these "expert" rankings. His work in Tygers of Pan Tang ,Thin Lizzy and Blue Murder was legendary. But his work Whitesnake, specifically the 1987 self titled album? It was transcending. Some of the most badass riffs and the most soulful solos ever written in my opinion.

Sykes is a Legend, legends never die... in future people will learn what a rat coverdale is...and what a legend Sykes is...
