Mikes been doing that for 50 years. He doesn’t roam the stage.Jackson's have some models where the jack is in the upper horn.
I can't have a cord hanging straight out of the jack, I'd bounce right on it and rip it all out.
I wonder how it would have been if Gibson had not bought Epiphone? The most prominent single cut guitar in the US would have been Epiphone.
Slacker!I have no idea never played V's....![]()
@Thatbastarddon what year is your V? I forget, is it a Faded? Did you keep stock pickups or has it been modified other than the stetsbar?Ive seen pics of your V before Don and i always like the way that Stetsbar looks on it.
All you need to do is make a tunnel through the guitar, to the upper horn.Jackson's have some models where the jack is in the upper horn.

Yeah, get one of those. That's how you hold a V! It's ready to get stepped on and pull out tho.

Or simply run the cable up to strap and never step on it. I am wireless anyhow.... I have seen more than a few L P guys just plug straight in. There is a recipe for unplugging mid show right there!!There used to be this thing called "snap jack." It was this magnetic 90 degree guitar plug.
If you step on the wire, it pops right off.
The you touch the parts together, and it pops right back on.
I was surprised at how well these things work.
It's really a shame that it didn't catch on, because it's actually a good idea.

Well…it came with a ground wire…no pickups, pickguard, pots, cap, switch, output jack, tuners, trussrod cover, bridge(or bushings for it), and no tailpiece (or bushings for it). This was the unboxing pic:@Thatbastarddon what year is your V? I forget, is it a Faded? Did you keep stock pickups or has it been modified other than the stetsbar?

Does it have to be gold? That’s a $70 color option…the others are $329…not cheap, but…less. They were about $225 shipped when I got mine. So, for the V, I didn’t “have to” buy a bridge, or tailpiece, but those giant Gibson style tailpiece bushings(I went with steel) I had to get. I looked at it as spending an extra $100 for a trem.I seen this on the interwebs would fit my guitar but at 399$ might be awhileView attachment 104218
