Remember I mentioned I had a Tele Deluxe gifted to me. At first I wasn't sure I would keep it but the more I play it the more I love it so it is definitely sticking around. I've owned Teles before but never one with these wide-range humbuckers and they are game-changers for me, plus it has the same control layout as my Les Pauls so it is very familiar feeling. I finally found a bolt neck guitar that I think i can bond with.

I just need to put some lighter strings on it and give it a setup. I didn't do anything to it since I wasn't sure I was going to keep it, but now I like the damn thing so much I am thinking of buying one of the American Professional versions (this one is MiM).

Yeah Norm, the pickups are insane. If you get the chance to try one of these with the gigantic wide-range 'buckers definitely check them out they are not like any pickup I have played before.

Haha, I actually dig the big 70s headstock but totally understand the preference.
