Guitar World review ( Check one out as soon as you can ) Cons/ hard to fault in any regard.
This is the colour i chose off their colour samples.

Personally I like the style of the guitar, nothing but a rave review about this guitar. I would not purchase a guitar in this price range, that's my opinion.
There are some great guitars out there without a Fender or Gibson nameplate on , from my own experiences.

Even in this price range of under $4,000 they might be onto something here.

Now if i was going to have a Custom built for $4,000 or over, it would be from this guy. Yanuziello Stringed Instruments

YANUZIELLO ELECTRIC GUITARS

My electrics are built with a completely hollow body, total instrument weight is approx 5.5 to 6.5 lbs.depending on the woods and hardware specified.

This hollow body, combined with my custom made Fralin pickups, produces a tone that’s very resonant and full. The pickups are fastened directly to the top so the pickups, the top, and the hollow body all work in concert to give you a tone that’s sweet and woody and very versatile.

I handbuild all of my electric instruments here in my shop, including all of the wood and metal hardware. They’re built one at a time, often with input from the customer, so they become very personal, one of a kind instruments.

I designed the shape of the body and headstock in 1982. Within this format, I offer many options to change the aesthetics and playability of the guitar

I dunno Norm, these last three are giving off strong Danelectro vibes, and that's not something I generally associate with a premium instrument. Opinions vary of course, and I think I can see the appeal, but they just look "cheap" to me even though they are clearly well-made guitars.

I respect your opinion Gary, we will have to agree to disagree. I like the shape of that particular guitar, The ones i have put on here are some that he shows on his website.

I think though ,many who are on here from what i see tend to go with the name brands. Me if i want a Custom guitar made, its from one guy that does all the building himself. The brand names usually have 5 or 6 guys doing the building, to me that is not Custom in the true sense.

There are some excellent small Custom shops that build great guitars , Uniqueness is part of what i look for.

I didn’t know guitars were required to cost $4000 to be worthy. lol
I guess my classic LP is out.
If I ever change my preference (doubt) I might something like this.

I cant afford 4 grand guitars and heres 3 reasons why i wont buy 4 grand guitars. No Chibsons but inspired buy Gibson Epiphones. Basically all Gibson guts made over seas. 1299$ take your pick. And i dont care about the resale value of these if i bought one but heres alot of good guitar for the price.Screenshot_20241120_110427_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20241120_110401_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20241120_110340_Gallery.jpg

Norm, definitely agree with you on a custom build. If I was going to go that route, a single builder makes sense (you can, of course, have a Fender made by a single builder if you want to shed the bucks) and I think anyone would probably be pretty happy and get their money's worth for it. Just talking about the aesthetic, which is of course subjective, and these, looks-wise - and for me only - remind me a lot of budget guitars from my youth. I'd look at any one of these builders if I was in the market but go for something a bit more original in the looks department.

As for Fender style guitars i can make partscaster Teles and Strats all day long for a fraction of the cost. Hell even real Fender stuff you can get on the Stratosphere website and build it yourself for less.

Exactly. For under $4K, I’ll spend a fun day online and on the phone with Warmoth, and screw together three killer guitars a few weeks later.
