It's Dwight ! (rhinestone guitar strap improves the twang etc)

I've always liked Dwight, but I don't know about that one. It somehow sounds like all the rest, but not as good.

Gotta say the band has good presence but it sounded much like dozens of Dwight's songs already recorded, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Voice seems to be strong as ever, deeper resonance with age? And lots of sparkle and a red paisley can always steal the show.

I’d listen to Dwight all night before I’d subject myself to the dumb modern “country” they used in the soundtrack for Twisters.

This is my favorite Dwight song from my favorite Dwight album, This Time. I'm actually listening to the whole album right now. For reasons I won't go into, this album meant a hell of a lot to me back in the mid 90s and I wore it out back then. I haven't listened to it years.

Thank you Mad Man for posting this thread. I've been revisiting Dwight since and I forgotten how much I love this guys music. I just went down to Florida for thanksgiving and I took along my 2 favorite albums for the road. "This Time" and "Gone", I had completely forgotten about "Gone", but found it looking for the other. I read an interview once where he said he wont release an album until he's listened to it in his car because that's where most people listen to music and it has to pass that test. They are both great driving albums. :yesway:
