I've been having to work by myself for almost a month now, with jury duty spread throughout the middle of it and a bad case to boot. I've had to be on a school rooftop, wiring these HVAC units for automation controls and it makes for long, boring but busy days when you dont have anyone to talk to. Kinda bums you out really and these last few days have been pretty rough to say the least.
I usually have Spotify playing just to curb the monotony and I've had it on the Stones Channel. Was feeling pretty down today and this came on and it was the first time I had a smile and things didn't seem so bad all of a sudden.
Kinda funny, I go into different musical tastes but I always come back to 3 spots: AC/DC , Iron Maiden ( who Im going to see Friday in Pittsburgh for the 5th time) and The Rolling Stones.
Though all three are very different musically, they share a common connection because they make the bad times good and the good times better.
-AC/DC is for the pick me up energy and fun
-Maiden is for the journey and storytelling
-The Stones are for the quiet times and groove
