What were you doing when you were 10 years old?

I was learning how to fix bicycles and riding them all over Manassas VA.
I was also 1 year from my introduction to that green leafy substance that we don't talk about here
I freaking love Spinach!!!!!!

FYI. I like Collards, Kale, Mustard and Turnip greens too.. Mmmm mmmmm.

10 years old? I had no inclination that I would ever be interested in music. I didn't even listen to it.

I always did well in school. But, aside from that and chores, I spent most of my time playing in the woods, climbing trees, searching for crayfish and minnows in the stream nearby, catching butterflies, building snow forts and sledding in the winter, and generally doing stuff that created a lot of very dirty laundry.

I also read a lot. I liked reading.
I did a lot of what Smitty says here too.. However, I also was approaching a rough patch of years as my dad's mean streak grew enough for our mom to pack us up and leave him one day while he was at work when I was 12. All sports I could find, trumpet and piano from about 8-13 yrs old, skateboarding, cub scouts, model building, rocket launching, girl chasing, shooting BB guns, hunting for snakes, Ogling Strats n Les Paul's...

Every nite after dinner he would make me play rythum while he played lead.I was only 10 and wanted to play outside lol.

No guitar, I was playing hockey and baseball. Also at that age i was driving a 4 speed Renault up and down our closed off road, up in small town Ontario, My dad taught me how to drive, it was awesome! Even drove the yard engine after school some times, my dad worked for the railroad.

It was 1968
I was looking at the Rotovibe Pedal at the Lafayette Electronics Store.
It was the coolest thing on earth.

Besides that when I was 10, I was just getting into trouble all the time.
I had an Alamo electric guitar, and it drove my parents fking bonkers with the noise.

I started to notice those things at 8. My 2nd grade teacher was a fox. Picture a 28

I loved Motown, but truth be told, all manner of music. Tom Jones, Three Dog Night, Deep Purple, Brownsville Station, Charlie Daniels, Steeley Dan...
No kidding. I can think of a few that I wish would have sexually abused me. Lol.
