He was known the world wide, had written songs for many celebs, not to mention all the great songs he had written and sang himself. He was a true Icon. All kidding aside, even if you weren't into his music, one must admit the man was hugely talented.

There aren’t many that can write a song that lasts 6+ minutes….. has only 4 chords…. Repeat for entire song…. No chorus and no bridge. And have that song become iconic.
