Yep Prince when he cut loose. Check out at around 332. He was just a remarkable player and entertainer!

Prince was a sharp guitarist.
I see people analyze the guitar part. This guy is talking about a “A Dorian” shift when the band is in “ G “
I often wonder if guys like Prince know they are even doing this ?
I have no idea of his musical education or lack of.
A lot self taught players wouldn’t know.

No, but it made me wonder because I know very little about prince. I knew he could play .
What I found was he had a musical family but sort of self taught ?
Never mind anyway , just a thought.

He was always a great player. And he made one the greatest albums of all time (Sign O' The Times).
