It's a nice sounding pickup and great playing guitar. I also like the Burstbucker Pro and Pro+ pickups on my other Supremes. Thanks, interesting tones.
I wanted to hear it because they released a bunch of under wound pickups. Sweetwater had all of them except the sugar bucket on one video comparison. There are some good sounding humbuckers. It's a nice sounding pickup and great playing guitar. I also like the Burstbucker Pro and Pro+ pickups on my other Supremes.
There are a lot of good sounding pickups out there. You can only determine how a pickup will sound from online samples to a certain point. Same with pedals and other accessories. There are too many other variables involved when it comes to how they will react in your real-world situation. I know they state underwound for many pickups, but they are definitely not under sound. The volume level is not less or more than other pickups, they just have different flavors. I know the Sugarbuckers are some of the more expensive available. I would also like to hear what they would sound like with other guitars, amps, pedals, etc. I'm sure we will see in future videos. I forgot what Epiphone called theirs but they are also pretty good.
