I don't understand the question? I've had it for a while now. I put a set of Jim Wagner Darkburst pickups in it. It's awesome! So did you decide a color finish? Hope the flooding coming from Helene doesn't affect you.

We are going to get the storm. We are supposed to get several inches of rain. It's already been raining for 2 days because of a stalled front and tomorrow we get the remnants of the hurricane. What about you, are you getting hit?
We are getting wind and some rain, but the eye hasn't gotten this far north yet.I don't understand the question? I've had it for a while now. I put a set of Jim Wagner Darkburst pickups in it. It's awesome!

Stay safe, brother. We are getting wind and some rain, but the eye hasn't gotten this far north yet.
Oh, that wasn't me. There was a guy on the Marshall forum that had one custom made that he was testing out before finish. Is that what you're thinking of?I though this thread was the one where you had a guitar custom built, my bad
So, what are the OEM pups called?Actually, the covers are the only thing. This guitar is awesome just the way it is, I don't want to change the pickups or anything.![]()
The original pickups were Burstbucker 1 & 2. I didn't have them in it for long before I decided I didn't like them. So, what are the OEM pups called?

Which LP was that for gball?I do like the BB1 in the neck, but the BB2 in the bridge was thin and weak sounding. I replaced mine with a Dirty Fingers, haha, needed to add some balls to the thing, ya know?

I haven't tried a DF. As a rule I don't like ceramic mags, but I'd like to try one someday. My problem now is I have way more pickups than I have guitars to put them in. I'm pretty much set on the pickups I have in my current guitars.I do like the BB1 in the neck, but the BB2 in the bridge was thin and weak sounding. Thank you for that. I'm a hard rock/metal guy so you might have just saved me some money down the road. It's perhaps the least ceramic-sounding ceramic there is. They are very loud, clean, and articulate. Precise. Not a "distortion" style pickup at all. And roll into cleans really nicely.
