2009 Gibson Les Paul

I painted a Fender P bass 1972 that was striped so sealer cote x3 base cote x3 color cote x3 clear cote x3
Ice blue metallic the pearl color pigment was $178.00 dealer cost for a 1/2 cup I was lucky my friend owns a body shop
it turned out well matched my Fender Custom Shop Fender strat exact looked cool on stage having matching bass and guitar on stage

I should have made the original post more clear. I have been considering doing something to the appearance of the studio.
It is a tough decision because on one hand changing would probably decline any perceived value, on other hand I don’t plan on selling it and the finish is weathered a little.
My first thought was to just sand the top down and do a black dye, sand it back and clear it including a painted binding.
