At home was fine…. I dont use this amp much. Last time it was serviced by Marshall about a year ago?Bummer.
Have you done any preliminary diagnostics - tubes, fuses, etc.?
Not sure I understand. At home was fine…. I dont use this amp much. Last time it was serviced by Marshall about a year ago?
Im hoping its not expensive fix or worse (non fixable )
Not sure I understand.
Is it working again at home?
Have you checked the tubes and fuses?
Might be something simple...
Clock!!!!!!! You got new battery and you are back!!!!!Few things to try off hand in order, one by one. If its good, move to the next section:
-Check both fuses on the back
-Check to see that all tubes are glowing
-if you got any extra ECC83 /12AX7 tubes ( preamp ones), start by swapping it in each tube slot one at a time and trying the amp out
-plug your guitar into the FX return only and see if you have sound ( it'll be loud and unprocessed but it rules out that the preamp has an issue)
Beyond that? Tech time
Which speaker jack were you using? 16 ohm only? Or the other 2?I took it to studio , I cranked it , 10 min into playing i lost sound…… nothing was coming out of amp..
Likely i took other head there so i could finish recording.
Im blessed with my luck ( NOT) !!!!
I know right hahahReplace all that might as well buy a new one.
It is at tech so not overly relevant?
As it turns outReplace all that might as well buy a new one.
