Waves Platinum Bundle down from $1,999.00 to $98.99

This looks to be a pretty sweet deal. I gave up the plug-in stuff a long while back.
Had a ton of stuff on my old XP box…not too much nowadays though…a few…but not too many.
Perhaps it might change someday.

My 2 analog Lunchbox 500 series modules are nice additions but I tend to use the plugins more. They really work more for the Mic.
Only because buying a good 500 module cost $1000 or more.

Screaming deal - even though more than half are things I'll likely never use, it seemed well worthwhile for the ones I would.
Cool that it doesn't require an keeping I-lok account & key to use - a lot of today's plugins seem to involve complex licensing hassles.

AudioDeluxe acknowledges the purchase, and I figured it'd be a straightforward download.
But several days later my account still says 'license delivery pending."
Anyone know if that's normal for AudioDeluxe? and if so, how soon might I expect to hear back from them?

No, that isn't normal for AudioDeluxe. It may be that the takeup has been so huge, Waves hasn't been releasing license keys fast enough, but that shouldn't be your problem. I'd say chase this up, using the contact link you hopefully got in a order confirmation email. Please tell the rest of us how this pans out.

To avoid any misunderstanding: I'm not affiliated to, or getting money from, any of the developer and reseller platforms. If I spot what seems like a good deal, I'll spread the love, hoping it helps other forum members.

If your experience following any link I post is negative, I really want to know.

Yah, will follow up on Monday, thanks. It does say pending...
Not impatient - just want to be sure it's in the works and not SNAFU'd somehow.

Damn good deal on the overall. I've got what I consider the best of Waves already with their 3rd party customs like Abbey, API, the in-ear virtual studio plugs, and a few others. I'm not big on Waves native stuff myself.

I see the deal is now is just the Waves discounted price of $299. TBH, Waves are a bit like a furniture store we have in the UK: there's a sale on so many days of the year, the 'original' price seems like BS. If you got all these plug for less than $100, I'd say you did really well! (y)(y)

Received download instructions - more complex than I anticipated, but it's in the works.
They delayed approval of my order because I didn't give them a business website and Facebook ID.
That's an odd one! I don't even have a business web site any more and I don't see why I should give out ID relating to other platforms. Hope this goes OK, because I'd feel bad if I pointed you at a load of hassle, when it was supposed to be a great deal.

Yeah, I found that kind of odd too. I can only assume that nowadays their customers are mostly pros with a studio website, and mostly hail from a generation where everybody has a Facebook page. Myself, I'm from the AOL-MySpace generation...
