Sorta try & rest my wrist on Sundays from work & playing so much & take a break from playing & try not to work. But just had to get this off my mind.
Objectively went back into the room put the 5150 on marshally crunch & played My SGJ & The Revenge. 2 Different guitars no doubt with dif EQ lanes. But if that Wesctcreek was handed to me in the dark. I couldn't tell it was so cheap. The feel..incredible but thats never why i buy gear..i buy for EQ lane & that only in every gear purchase for music that i am recording at the moment. Hence the wild gear wars
It fits under the SGJ spot on in the mix. Which was the only reason i got it. The videos that were done on it where fair & if they had changed the strings from stock crappy ones , would be even better.
My concern was holding tune(prepared to get new ones) when first got it, it was like 95 degrees from the UPS truck. Strait to amp lol. It was a "hot" guitar. But the tuning was a lil suspect from temp change & after a bit. I noticed the strings were so cheap they twanged like a tele. Put D'ad 10's on & instant full sound from E to E with note articulation.
With all the guitars coming through here , I almost dont care anymore who..why...i just play..& hit record
