Little amp , Big sound.

That is a tiny amp.

When we got married way back in 78…. My bride came with a 5w Vibro Champ. Doesn’t sound too bad…. Till I plug into my same vintage Traynor 20w with a single 12”. No contest.

But then, neither one of those would be considered a “practice” amp like this one. Definite alternative to headphones.

I live in a pretty well constructed house..... but that kinda wall of sound... I have no doubt at minimum I'd blow out some windows or worse case scenario.... a wall. :eek:;):LOL:

But yep.... realize that. I'll run that little 5 watter on 10 but no way I do the Traynor. Not in the context of home.... 5 is loud. The few times I played electric rather than acoustic at church, I did have the Traynor cranked more so I could be heard. That was kinda fun. But in reality, my style of playing is different than a lot of you here. I tend to play lots cleaner so I'm not really needing a lot of oomph out of the amp. And when I have played in public, the amp was mic'd and run thru the house.

Were different at this house I just did inventory 8 18-20 watt amps 8 30-35 watt amps 2 50 watt amps 20 100 watt amps 8 40 - 45 watt amps 1 150 watt amp
2 85 watt amps 1 75 watt amp not including bass amps total 50 amps funny the last 16 years only play the two 50 watt amps live on stage volume 5 master volume 2-3
got my first 100 watt amp 1973 like the clean headroom of a 100.

That’s great if you have room for them. I do not. I had a 100w JCM 900 DR. Glorious but way overkill. If I had a place to play it, it would be great. I have 4 , 20w amps. More than enough power.

If my wife was not in the next room I would crank it up. Sometimes I do but it’s not reasonable when other people are near that volume. I have a SMALL house. I have said this maybe 100 times.
