I used two led torches and some foam artboard. A white board behind and two black ones - one each side (not in shot). Then I shone the torches in from the sides so they just illuminated the back board. Does that make sense? Kind of like this

Today is the first time I've tuned into this thread. Lots of cool pics. Unfortunately, most of Big Daddy B's pics are not viewable.

I do use my Samsung S6 for some forum pics. Camera abilities are amazing on today's smartphones. But most of my personal pics that I have posted were taken on my 7 year old Canon EOS T1i. About 3 weeks ago, the T1i crapped out. The LCD screen went blank. I just replaced the old T1i with a brand new T6i. I'm still pist that the money I spent on the first camera was good for only 7 years. But on the other hand, the new T6i is a nicer and better performing camera, with more useable features. I hope this one lasts as long as I do... :fingersx:

@DonP : I checked out your Wix link to your photography. That's some serious photo skilz there... :yesway:

Thanks for that. Expect a new set in August when I come back from Crete. May main camera is a Canon EOS 550, but I rarely use that now. My little pocket size Sony seems to do as good a job.

Love this time of year....anticipating when my vegetables will be ready. I know it's soon, and I'm getting excited. I've been producing some green beans, and a fair amount of cukes so far....but I drool for tomatoes, and they aren't quite there yet.

Me loves tomato sandwich. Yup, it's true, I'm a food ho !!

Please turn red....

My old neighbor, used to leave his door open so the raccoon could eat the cat food. I always thought that was insane.
