I'm okay.

Glad you're OK. Not to make light of it but every time I read the title of the thread I hear this song :)

I might glance at an article on my PC news feed while eating breakfast or such but no more deep diving research like before but absolutely NO news on the TV especially anything that has to do with the 'p' word. This frees me up to see how fast I can go broke buying my Golden Retriever stuff online.
I have now decided that my time of looking at politics, opinions and media are now the responsibility of younger people than me, as a poor pensioner I don't do anything these days unless some outfit offers me an incentive that raises my pay grade.
No good getting old and grouchy unless you make sure people are fully aware of who they're trying to communicate with.

I used to enter into conversation on social media with people, on shall we say…. Current events. I stopped doing that years ago. Serves no useful purpose as the other person was not interested in actual debate…. Just felt the need to be a bully. So these days I just post stupid stuff with the attempt to make the reader blow liquid out their nose.

I have been watching the Diesel Creek youtube channel alot
Matt work on things that are interesting to me, old Army trucks and heavy equipment, and his editing is pretty good
Me too and his friends site scrappy industries another one I like is C&C equipment.

BBC/British shows are so effing cool to watch, been really finding them more interesting in the last year or so.
It does make me wonder about small townships in the UK though ...
no way do i want to vacation in a spot where the likelihood of getting murdered is so great relative
to the size of the population.
i mean, Midsomer has at least one and more often a couple of folks getting killed every single week.

Generally. There’s 3 murders in Midsomer Murders. Like clockwork. As predictable as a Hallmark Movie. :pound-hand:

The good thing is they only murder local and never tourists.

How cool would that be while on vacation in rural England to find a body on a walk in the country!

I'm booking a flight right now.

Exactly what we say!
Never move to Midsomer, Grantchester, Kembleford....
For those who missed it Midsomer Murders is a long running UK mystery show.

Don’t know if NWS is still doing surveys of damage tracks. But as of yesterday in the Chicagoland area, their official tornado count is:

July 14 - Sunday = 6
July 15 - Monday = 27

The Monday count set a one day record for tornadoes. Old record was 22 set March 2023. It was a busy weekend.
