We have one of these for the "cat lovers" amongst us. Nothing against felines.... I like kitties. Anyway.... why not have one for the "dog lovers" amongst us. Let the posting begin.

I'll go first. Our goofy dog HATES chipmunks. Surrounded by timber we have plenty for her to hate. She's staring in a chipmunk hole. Stood there for 5+ hours yesterday, not moving. Been going at it a couple hours so far today.

Does no harm I hope.

Hey all, haven't had much going on lately since I can't play anymore due to advancing arthritis in my left shoulder.
This has also put a kink in everything that I used to do.
But we did get a new doggie. Actually a ten year old blind doggie.
Meet Louie...

Louie was a resident at the local Humane Society where my wife is a volunteer.
She'd tell me all about him and show me videos of him playing with all the puppies there.
All the staff loved Louie, but an old blind dog has a pretty slim chance of being adopted out.
I felt so bad for this old boy and that was all it took. We took our other dog Charlotte to meet Louie, and they got along great.
Louie has been a family member ever since.

Louie along with Charlotte are also the cover dogs on the July / August issue of Suncoast Pets.

Till next time...

The only dog I have taken care of, she was my Mom's. I took the "Moppet" in after my Mom could no longer care for her. That was her winter coat mop. She'd get clipped short in the hot weather.

Not her real name, but what I called her often. Her vet name was Wookie, my Mom named her cookie. Was hard to get a good image of her like this.

Never thought I'd like a little dog, but I gave her the best five years to the end of her life I could. I knew her from a pup - a total mouthy brat back then. Thought seriously about finding a good home for her. That lasted less than a week. She left me in 2017, at the age of 15.
