What are you listening to, metal edition.

Lol. Fair although I didn’t think Les Binks was still playing with them.

For me it’s not so much about whether he has the right to name the band “Priest”. He’s earned the right to do whatever he wants. I just personally find it a bit cringy; particularly songs with Sinner or Sentinel in the title. That’s my issue though. I’ll get over it. It’s still a better band name than Hell Yeah.

In most instances I'd agree with the branding thing, but KK's band has the same number of real Judas Priest members as the current Judas Priest does ha ha ha.

KK's - Drummer, guitarist, singer
JP - Singer, bass, drummer.

Also a bit of trivia, KK and the bassist formed and named the band before Glen and Rob were in it.
(Name taken from a Dylan song) The name came through their singer at the time, and it was KK who decided to rename the band Judas Priest.

I think the brand is as much his as anyone's.

I do agree that the band is good enough to call themselves whatever they want and stand alone, perhaps their insecurities got the best of them when they started.
That and KK was sort of a founding member. He rightfully has some ownership. I guess when he left he must have righteously said some foul things.
