The wait is on... tic... tic ... tic...

May I be the first to congratulate you on your new PRS day.
The radiator, I cant get as excited about.
But finally getting your car back on the road will be a reason for celebration.
Hope all goes as planed.

My wife will be happy to get her car back too. I hijacked it a couple of weeks ago!

I'm originally from Pasadena. Where did you use to live? I'm 59, if you are anywhere near my age, perhaps we might have run around in the same groups?

Lived off of El Molino near Cordova. That was between 1997 and 2005, which is when we moved to the South Bay.
Used to do most of my shopping at Rose Music (RIP) but would hit the GC every once in a while when it opened.
I'm a bit younger than you (51) and during that time I was working in downtown LA and I had stopped gigging around 1996 (after I moved to CA from the East Coast), mostly when I went out it was Lucky Baldwin's or Old Town Pub.

My local watering hole used to be The Colorado Bar a couple of doors down from GC. Now a days I work in downtown L. A. and my local watering hole is home... drinking vitamin water with an occasional beer.

Well they are both home. To begin with, here is how the radiator box looked.

No damage to the box

The radiator is in excellent shape too. I'll probably need to elongate the holes, but I'm ready for that task. This will need to wait until Saturday to deal with modification and installation .

Now for the PRS. I just have a crappy cellphone pic for now. Perhaps after I'm done working on my car I'll use a real camera. Here are pictures of the box as I received it from Guitar Center...

Hmmm, this caught my attention real quick! If I ever need to ship this anywhere, I'm not so sure this box will hold up. There was a secondary box inside the damaged box and it made the journey with no damage. FYI, the radiator was shipped FedEx, the PRS was shipped UPS.
