Welcome, I am always on the look out for good bang for the buck parts.
Cheap but Good / Good enough / does the job adequately = GOOD

Cheap but Cheap crap = BAD

I have heard (may have been here) Musiclily has won the worlds crappiest tuning pegs award.
Just from pictures I think they are the ones I have taken off a couple of cheap guitars, they are awful.
But in fairness, I cannot say for sure as I did not buy them from Musiclily.
Dont mean to sound harsh, just keeping it real.
Judging from your post, #6, it sounds like you have a handle on it. I like the reference Wilkinson in relative quality level.

Every product line has some winners and losers.
Maybe you could give us the skinny on some of the products as in if you have or would used them yourself, and if so, what to reasonably expect.
Are you a guitar player?

Is it me, or does Jerry.Gao sound eerily similar to Johnny Goo?

Do you have a decent budget line of nut slot files? I got some cheap 2-sided awful ones recently and did not expect Stew Macs but like I said, awful.

Thank you for your feedback. Origianly, I am going to post a new post for Musiclily buyer guide, as you already asked it, so please allow me to explain in here.

I agree with you : Cheap but Good / Good enough / does the job adequately = GOOD, but Plus : a correct price point.
Our goal always is : bring value, safe , correct products to every customer. Different people have different quality level requirement, that is why we add Musiclily pro line to our store.

> A major issue is quality control, we are working hard in this field, but still there is some bad parts are leaked from our hands to customers, that is why you heard some bad feedbacks about our products. In Musiclily tuners line, we only sell these tuner set with 10+USD includes Free shipping (also FBA) on Amazon, we can not say too much about its quality, but at least, we make most customers are happy their quality in this price point.
On other hands , some customer feel these tuners' quality is too bad to use, so they leave "Why not spend more a couple of dollars to get a better set?" OK, we add Musiclily pro line tuners - these tuners are OEM by Wilkinson factory, so it should fit people normal usage.

> In Musiclily, our pickguards and bone nut line is good, you can compare them with Allparts or WD-Music, our tuners / bridge / hardware line is for lower end guitar, our electric parts line is OK, pickup line is China made Epiphone level, string line is OK, fret wire is OK, knobs line is quality but for mertic size pots (Not USA made CTS or CRL, we will relase new model for them in June).
All Pro line items are good.
By the way, these information are not skinny , we are honest. :) We give a full refund when customer is not happy , and we do not need return.
I am not a guitar player, I prefer classical / new-age / rock music, but since I am in this business, I learned some guitar parts knowledges for do better, I know professional skill is a key for any career.

Sometimes USA customer do not understand why we sell some lower quality items, my answer is : Most Brazil / East ASIA / East europe people use low value cheap guitar, them can not afford a high quality but more expensive parts. Just like most oversea people think Allparts / WDmusic / Stew-Mac parts price are sky high, even their shipping fee.

Thanks,
Jerry

I don't even need any parts right now, but I just wanna get some stuff because I like the prices.
In Musiclily, we can not say our goods are all high quality, but we can say all our goods and service are value and worth your money, if not , we pay for it, simple. Thanks,Jerry

I been browsing the Musiclily site....lot's of good parts!!!

Tried to buy some stuff there today, mostly based on the recommendations here.

Made an account a while back and logged into it around the time this thread was active.
Went there to peruse TOM and wrap around bridges, 3 way toggle, pickup mounting rings, pro series tuners, etc.

Forgot my password.

Did the forgot password thing, no email , checked spam / junk folders of course.
tried to sign up again - to verify email was already in use.
Did forgot password thing again, gave it past 30 min, no email.

Saw some items on Amazon, didnt like the 2 screw hole 3L 3R tuners.
Gave it a chance, but made my purchases elsewhere.
I will give him another chance in the future.

I think the reset password email is in your spam box or filter by your email system, alternatively, you can send a mail to info@musiclily.com, we can reset your password manually and reply you.
P.S Personally, I suggest to try our pro line products, because if your guitar is expensive, you maybe think our standard line can not fulfill your quality level.
Thanks.
Jerry

Thanks Jerry, I did check my spam / junk folders, and just checked it again.
No email.
I sent an email to info@musiclily.com as suggested, just now.

You may want to verify the site is working correctly.
I really wanted to send my business your way.

Jerry reset my password, copied and pasted user email and password, typed in manually several times each.
No Joy.
I think it is the sad wings of destiny.

Sorry for the trouble. In fact, we have not find a way to send reset password for customer who request "Forgot Password". Because this mail will be sent by system automatically, so in many chance, it will be filter as a spam box or deleted by customer's mail system automatically. I know it is a problem, we are working on it to fix, but we are not sure the timetable. So if anyone have reset password problem, please directly send a mail to info@musiclily.com, we will sort out for you. Cheers.

Jerry did get mine sorted and it is working.
I am waiting to confirm the TOM hole sizes and spacing.

Place my first order last night!
forgot a pair of pickup mounting rings. I placed a second order and sent Jerry an email asking if he could combine the two and refund me the second shipping charge.
not a deal killer but I figured I would ask.

anybody else order direct through the .com, and not through amazon?
If so, what kind of lead time. They dont give and indication it has shipped or tracking.
My order was place just about 2 weeks ago.
Thats fine; I realize its probably shipping from China.
I'm not ready for those parts yet, I just dont know when to expect it.

I went back and logged into the site.
If you go to order information and on the right hover and then click "view", the order details come up including tracking number and tracking website.
Looks like several hops through China and Germany and now it is at JFK.

I always order that way. That is how I got my "stash" of parts! Just order the discount quantity for great pricing and get a few extras.
