A Question for Members

Well...I suspect that if the frets you receive are like those in the photo, which look very pretty I must say, you'll be replacing them if they really are indented from the edge of the board as the photo suggests. Strings catching sort of thing.

However, it also appears almost too nice, if you follow...no tooling marks from installing or anything...

like maybe the frets were photoshopped onto the board and the photographer didn't know such a thing mattered.

how's that for anal?

Well , if it is bad. I will return it.
The one guitar I had that had a problem with the strings (High E) coming off the fretboard was my Jackson USA RR1
I loved the guitar, I just couldn't play it.
I just thought it was my bad playing form.
It had frets like train tracks.

Looking closely at the frets in the first pic, there appear to be some filing marks and if that's the actual neck rather than a stock photo you may need to do a grind &/or polish on them.
From what i can tell from their Reverb listings 'hidden fret ends' are a thing with them, and if you live in an area where the humidity changes enough to create seasonal fret sprout issues like i do, that actually might be a plus since there's room for the wood to shrink a bit before the frets start to poke out past the fingerboard.

Re: the actual question, my only experience with Tricked Out Guitar is that i purchased some small items from them in the past, things like aged control knobs and plates.
i was happy with what i got from them.

I should have said all forum members because this area is where I posted and we have so many new members . That and know that Strat owners are the kings of mods. Lol
I will just say I think at one point I joined the Tele site but just like ST , I don't hang there.

I probably have several questions but this is a vendor related question about a Reverb Vendor called " Tricked Out Guitar"

Sorry , it's not actually a Strat neck. It's a Tele Neck I am buying for my Warmoth Tele body project.

I did another one of those things where I put in a low offer and they excepted :BH:

No I wouldn't buy it.
It looks like somebody is trying to unload defect merchandise onto you.
I already see multiple problems with the way the frets are installed.
If you already bought it, send it back.

Just trying to see if anyone had bought one of these. I had hoped maybe someone had. But not so far.
This:

I’d stay away from it
