Your father was my friend and mentor. We never met in person, however I built this forum in part due to the way John was treated by the new owners that bought everythingsg.com. There were other reasons also, but as soon as I had this place online and operational I asked your father to join us here, where he was welcomed with open arms and given moderator status. Your father is a very respected member of many online communities, not just this one.

Yes! I sang backing vocals while he was the lead guitarist in a re-boot of The Boyzz in the early 2000s. I sing full time now. I have some great memories of being on stage with him.

Thank you so much. He loved everything about guitars and music. And it was great for him to have a space where he could share his knowledge amongst peers and friends that also shared such a passion for music. It’s amazing to me how many people knew my dad. It makes my heart happy.

Sorry for your loss, I lost my Dad last year. It's good to have you here, hope you'll stick around.

Really sad news I learned this week while I was business traveling in Chicago, of all places. John was one of the first members that I interacted with and asked for advice, when I first arrived to TTR a few years back. Always a gentleman, a great guitarist and a true friend! Rest In Power, GW!
