DoneWell, go watch Lil Wayne play guitar, you'll feel better immediately!
Also, repeat after me: "I play guitar because I like to, not because I'm good at it."
There seems to be a lot of that on youtube but I think you changed the subject. Again. LolI like the older "women" that rest their right cannon on the guitar body. Talk about watching technique.
I know. I should have alluded to gayness and it would have been seamless. Lol.There seems to be a lot of that on youtube but I think you changed the subject. Again. Lol
No way, I DO NOT watch specific videos with women guitar players for that reason! I swear! (is my wife still watching me type over my shoulder?)I like the older "women" that rest their right cannon on the guitar body. Talk about watching technique.
If I have to distinguish between female and male guitar players, Juliette is probably one of my favorite female players.
I like her expression of the Comfortably Numb solo (which is the best guitar solo ever composed. I'm right about this. Period. Don't argue with me. if you disagree, you're wrong!) better than David Gilmour. I also like the sound of her SG for the solo better than a Strat, which is saying a lot because I LOVE Stratocasters.

Lol. I remember that one. That's quite a filet.
Sarah Longfield.
I can't believe I never ran across her on youtube. Awesome player.

She really is.I can't believe I never ran across her on youtube. Awesome player.
i look forward to the day when 'You play like a girl' is more of a compliment than a put down. This is one of the coolest things about our modern era of music. For a long time, guitar seemed to be exclusively dominated by guys. It pretty much still is, but more and more girls are really going for it in a serious way. That's really cool to see.

We're not quite there yet, obviously ... but in the meantime, some of us do what we can.
