Some may remember me. Maybe!

Wade!!!!!!!

My older brother, I cannot express how good it is to see you here! Man, I missed you a lot since you stopped posting at TFF.

You are a great guy and a very dear friend to me, Anita, Smitty, Alex and many others! We've been wondering if you'd show up and finding ways to invite you.

Oh boy! I'm doing that now, but even though I can see this postage stamp size screen, I'm just overwhelmed with all the stuff here! Remember folks, I'd rather ride a horse any day than drive a car. I'm really really slow with anything computer related.
That's OK, take your time, look around and get familiar with the new place. Bathroom is in the back by the kitchen at the bottom of the page.

The forums are set up like a house with different rooms.

We have a rooms where all musical instruments are welcome
Music Rooms

We have a Workshop for those that like to tinker
Work Shop

We got a place for performances
The Concert Hall

The Gear Garage

At the bottom of the list is where you will find the bathroom wall for humor. The kitchen is back there too if ya get hungry.
Other Rooms

Explore, meet the family and share stories. You know how it works.

FYI you can use your fingers to make the screen larger if need be. Place your index finger and thump together and touch them to the screen. While still touching the screen slowly separate them and watch your screen grow. If it gets too big, squeeze it back by closing your fingers.

As shucks, now I feel humbled by that greeting little brother. I'm going to try and remain all stoic and stuff but shoot, good to hear from you as well! And I am pleased to see "the top of the heap" here! All the fine folks I spoke with so often and admired so much.

Yes, yes, yes, YES!!!

Wade is in da HOUSE!

Glad to see you made it in.

You joined just in time. The bathroom is working and there's food in the kitchen!

My Father was of Irish descent and my Mother had Cherokee decedents so I guess this just makes me a mutt.

Howdy, Hola, A'ho, Greetings, and for fellow old guys, "Hey kid! Get off my lawn!" :pSmitty invited me here. Now we'll see how long it takes for any of ya to figure out who in the world's typing this in his crummy little phone. Ha! And Smitty, no fair cheetin' and giving it away, ok? Cool!
I love a good mystery don't you?

Y'all are gonna havta bear with me. I got only this smartypants phone and remember I shoot contrary computers. I gotta figure out these alerts, inboxes, conversation things. Trophies? huh??
This is a lot for a guy from the rez! Hokey Smoke Bullwinkle!
Surprise!
Yup, it's me. Health went south. Ex-wife went north. And after all sorts of calamities, I rose from the ashes like a finix, ummm a Pheekx, no wait, I'll get it..... give me a minute. Ok.....
I arose from the ashes like a dirty, dusty, soot encrusted tired old man! Yeah, that's it! Ta daaa! O

I will be the first to tell you, A. You were missed and B. I knew in 2 seconds by the name Walks Backwards, exactly who the heck this is. C. What a Year. Both Tony M and Bro Wade have returned to the brotherhood.

Brother Worm, Take your time and do whatcha can with the tech. Don't let it getcha flustered and keep puttin holes down range Brother!!!! SO glad to find out Smitty knew how to get a hold of you all this time. Now I gotta go kick his butt for not telling me so I could keep in touch with one of my top brothers. See ya soon good buddy.

My sincere thanks to one and all!
Been a rough year or so and health issues really clobbered me, but I'm back to rock as much as an old man can do! So if I occasionally say "Huh? What's that?" is because I've been really out of circulation for quite a while and far from anything guitar related. And a stroke put me outta playing. And it kinda put some things in the memory banks in wrong places too as such. But I'm back as best I can be. Last week I actually picked up my LP Custom after changing strings and still remembered how to play in "The Key of 'Nuge!"! It has sat in the case for over a year.

Glad to be home guys.

Sorry for being nosy. Glad you're still rocking. Welcome to TTR... (Two happy emoji's toasting each other with full beer mugs)

So, it's not Tobacco Worm? Or is it?

I'm sorry. Wasn't ignoring you. When I got here I'd forgotten the old name. That stroke scrambled things here and there. And until you asked about it I couldn't remember. Even though it was my nickname for decades. I tell ya, this getting old is for the birds!

Did your guitar playing change at all?

Some. The right hand is somewhat awkward and I drop picks a lot. Left hand is good to go though. Sweep picking and alternative picking has suffered the most. I was once quite good at finger picking but that's also kinda shot. Oddly, in comparison, my shooting abilities scarcely changed once the grip strength returned and the old muscle memory thing took over. I'm able to rip a .45ACP 1911A1 from the holster and go total gonzo on my gun range here at home. Same with my revolvers. The doc at the VA said that is "hardwired" into my being. Maybe so huh?
