Like the guy said , lucky he was in his truck

We had a bear in an orchard down the road just a couple weeks ago. He was injured pretty bad, as if someone hit him with a big vehicle. Had to be euthanized....

Which honestly maybe saved someone's life. Imagine stumbling upon an injured bear where there shouldn't be a bear while you're working in the apple trees...

Furthermore, the feds have decided to bring grizzlies back to the cascades, specifically a neighboring County.

I'm all about conservation and protecting nature and all. But: this will not end well.

I wish these people would put them in their own communities and backyards.

We've already got bears, wolves, mountain lion, badgers and even friggin' Sasquatch up here.

Just like with the wolves, when they come for the livestock (and they will) they will be shot by farmers and ranchers.

Doesn't seem like such a win for nature anymore.

Yeah, this'll be fine.
The grizzlies will chase all the brown and black and cinnamon bears away and out of their habitat then we won't have this kind of thing happen anymore, right?

I survived a brown bear attack freshwater bay Alaska not fun. I get black bears in my yard in the fall

Wow that must have been pretty crazy!

I actually really like bears, I think they're cool.
But they are apex predators, and typically humans and bears don't really mix well.

We could ask Timothy Treadwell about that. He lived amongst wild grizzlies for 13 years....until they ate him and his girlfriend.
