I think someone might have posted this video. But it is so classic.
Most fans don't consider the first 2 albums like the ones that followed with Bruce and for a good reason.

I was fortunate enough to have seen them on the Killers tour but Dennis Stratton was already out. They had a guy that was influenced to play guitar by Dave Murray by the name of Adrian Smith.
Maybe you guys heard of him . Lol I like this song but the studio version has cool section in the middle , bass / guitar.

So, so badass.

I got to see them twice with Paul. Honestly, and I know this is the minority opinion, I prefer the first two albums with Di'anno to anything they have done since. Of course Bruce Dickinson is a legend, but those records balance their virtuosity with punk-level rawness in a way they have never seemed to find again.

That is actually a popular opinion to some people. Paul was better than he got credit for.

Yup, I agree. Bruce is a far better singer, bar none. But the shorter, hardcore, punky songs of the first 2 albums are classic!!

I totally agree with gball on Maiden's roots as well as their evolution and differences in sounds.
Having grown up on all Maiden since 1980, I got to enjoy their early sound and to evolve myself like the band did.

I have no motive to compare Paul vs Bruce, I like em both.

Kind of like I like the numerous sounds of Sabbath/ Ozzie /Dio
