Ground wire - amp tech genius!Video I found quite good repairing a solid state amp hum. I will place here just for reference.
).
Good info, thanks.HNAD!
Cool little amp, I've always liked my G215.
Nice Marshall growl with the gains cranked.
If you want cleans for pedals - MV cranked, Gain2 @ zero-ish, and use Gain1 for volume.
That's a nice amp , all the stuff you have 67plexi is very top notch.
It will , like I said orinally. I have one of these amps with a single 10" speaker that's in need of repairs. I might fix it some day.Congratulations! hope it works out for you.
It should be in tomorrow. I wil play it in the evening on my way to work.Congrats on your rock n roll amplification unit.
@fitz , do you have any pics of the pots up close ?Ground wire - amp tech genius!
That G15RCD is basically the same as the 215 w/o the chorus and stereo speaker out.
I recently swapped out the filter caps in my G215.
Didn't have a mains hum, but I was chasing a start up thump.
Wound up just putting in a speaker kill switch (like a half-assed standby on a SS).

Not really , I will pick it up tonight.Nothing looking directly at the pots, but I've never had an issue with the pots in this amp.
They are full size, board mount.
That chassis is easy to pop out of the head shell.
Is there something specific you want to see?
