Using a shielded cable for low power speaker?

I set up my new smaller board with the Taurus pedal stomp amp on it. I can run a speaker wire for around 12" to the output jack, then a long one to speaker cab. If I have it set in 7 watt mode, can I use a handy right angle flat shielded cable for the short one? I know it can heat up but with such a low power and short distance?
I do not have any speaker line with a right angle. The right angle plus are bigger than this little flat one.

I wouldn’t….but I’m gun shy from all the years of fixing stuff for other people that were willing to do interesting things.
(I would make a speaker cable for it)

New smaller board.
Put the pedal stomp amp on it. Has a line out, runs under to a DI box w XLR out. Can also remove pedal amp and run piezo to outside input on DI right to board and rearrange other pedals w G3xn instead of the single multi effect.
Temple Audio board. Nothing better IMO.

It's in the box w stuff.
