This Happened Just Over an Hour From Where I Live

Got the same thing going on in northern Illinois. Made it into the 70s today’s. Upper 20s by morning. When that happens in my part of the world… generally a storm accompanies the temperature change. Most of the northern 1/3 of Illinois in a tornado watch. Tornado warnings have been issued. Thunderstorm warnings have been issued. Supposed to be bumpy till about 10:00 pm central time.
 
We had well above freezing 4 days ago. Minus 33C last night after blizzard Sun. Temp will be -30C tonight then above freezing Thurs then down to around zero F again Fri etc. -16 C.
Weird.

A bit early this year for a tornado watch, no? Southern Minnesota has been upgraded to a Zone 5 agriculture area due to global warming (Climate Change). This will greatly effect crops that are planted at different times of the year.

Oh yeah. Early for sure. But a little over a week ago, southern WI got hit by a tornado south of Madison. First tornado ever recorded in February in WI. Touched down a few miles south and west of my In Laws that live there.
