My Pickup Irony

As i ease into strats lately.. 2 & 4 are addicting to me. That Redneck thing on riffmasters was on Mexi strat & Schecter using all the dif pickup positions, Didnt have time do to work happening to dig in during the recording & those switching options made it so easy.

Have spent hours on adjusting the pickup heights to balance how to use them. From country to Korn on flick of switch .

JB's in bridge & 59's up top. Sorta like heavies & classic full lead tone with 2 & 4 being excellent slightly lower volume quick rhythm go to,

The SD everything is good at classic metal down to hard & normal rock being its strength & the Schecter being really good at heavies, Their USA pups are slightly clearer for the handling of insane gain levels. But the SD's have that mid push for coloring on edge of breakup that have come to rely on

My next obsession is a 50's pickup set up. The big fat tone but not so hot.

Lol for a month strait, utube at night listening to strat pickups until they all sound the same..
I can not get along with the JB at all.
I do have a slightly overwound 59 HB I like. Not a hot pickup at all.
