Lost my buddy today

My trusty screw gun has died.

We've been thru so much together, it's been a loyal friend for many years, but my recent speaker swaps (taking the backs off and back on my cabs too many times) were just too much for it, it won't hold a charge anymore.

It's a sad day for me. RIP my friend. :sadwave:

Sorry for your loss.
I too recently had an old friend pass to the realm beyond the charge.

But the holes he has drilled, and the screws he has driven will always be his legacy.
And his brethren will not forget him.

My condolences, man. Those are of course the big brothers to what mine is, but I have a drill for the big jobs. I love that little screw gun for what it is and at 25 bucks, it was a great investment. Not to worry, I just ordered a new one. :yesway:

This is pretty sad. I'm truly sorry to hear of your loss. Were you sitting down when you got the news?

Time will heal, pal.

I had just put the stock speaker back in my 112 cab, the back was already off so I just had to put the speaker in and close it up. I already knew it was getting weak, but I had charged it over night last night so I thought it would at least have enough juice to do that, but it only made it to half way on the second screw when it just couldn't do anymore. I could still turn the screw by hand so it wasn't strained, I knew right then it was time to put it down. It was a tough decision, but I knew it was in pain and it was the right thing to do. It's in a better place now and I take comfort in that.

Stop!! It's hard enough. I didn't need that.

I feel your pain Steve. I recently lost my lucky 10mm spanner. I hate when people say "they're just tools". They're not, they're like family members. Some people just don't get it

Sorry to a good man to down, insert taps here.

I had one similar years ago, funny enough my boys kept “borrowing” my little screw guns until I saw one on special one day, it was a Mother’s Day special sale and the damn thing was pink. They never stole that one :ROFLMAO: I used it forever until the charger wen TU.
